So a bit about the player character today, a shot of the main protagonist from a crouching pose will give you a better idea of what it looks like from the front. Still some finishing touches to be done with materials and details, but this is not far off final quality. Cloth colour is currently randomised, so today a rather fetching dark blue is on display.
The character has evolved quite a bit from the initial ideas. We started with more of a cartoony feel to the designs as can be seen in the concepts below, but you can see some of the shapes and ideas that have come through.
The final design has a harder edge to it and more in fitting with the feel of the game that we are going for. There will be some character customisation so that the player can find a look they are happy with and personalise things, but we are a while off implementing that system.
