Early Access - a Co-op Action RPG
Almighty: Kill Your Gods, is currently in Steam Early Access, and is actively being developed as we iterate towards version 1, and look towards console platforms. We have an open development approach in this respect, meaning that features in the game may not be of final quality, and we may pivot or change direction based on community feedback.
About the Game

Play in solo or co-operative online play with up to 4 players.
Craft and customize powerful gear to create your own unique character class and play styles.
Upgrade and defend your Home Island, a strong home gives you power. Visit your friends’ Home Islands and help each other upgrade and defend from enemy raids.
Fight in reactive, changing environments. Anger the gods and see the islands change before your eyes.
Below is an overview of some of the main features:
HOME ISLAND - Provide for and Protect
Upgrade your island, repairing and upgrading Farms for production, Guard Towers for defense, Statues and Banners for prestige, complete work orders to improve its infrastructure, and establish trade roots to boost its economy.
Visit friends islands whether they are offline or online and use your resources to help them upgrade and collectively protect each others Home Islands from enemy raids.
Upgrade your tower building it high and increase the splendor of each floor to boost your Alphas Health and Magic Power. The taller and more splendid your Tower of Might is the more powerful your Alpha will be.
The more powerful you are the longer you can sprint, charge, glide and bring destruction to your enemies.
Collect Knowledge Quests from the Prayer Wall that reveal the backstory and history of your ancestors and uncover the nefarious plans and motivations of the Elder Gods. Collect Daily and Weekly prayers from your Kindred, and bring back the resources they need.
LOST ISLANDS - Former lands of your Kindred.
Your Kindred once happily inhabited these islands but the Elder Gods have attacked, taken over and have started exploiting them for resources. Hunt these islands that are a reactive sandbox, watch as things change as you and your pack interact.
The more you kill, steal and destroy, the more you will anger the gods and the more things will escalate.
GOD ISLANDS - Where Elder Gods dwell.
Long exploited by the Elder Gods, these islands are barren and poisoned from their machinery. They once belonged to your ancestors but when has been lost in the mists of time. Well protected they act as a resource hub for the resources they have exploited, and house the machinery that fuels their nefarious plans. They have been transformed into something more habitable for their needs. You are likely to encounter more and higher level gods here.
HOLLOWS - The dark below.
The Hollows are a subterranean network of Elder God tunnels, caves, old mine workings and long forgotten ancient dwellings of the ancestors. The Elder Gods have tunnelled down under the islands to search for resources and house some of their production facilities away from prying eyes. There they convert resources to swell the ranks of their armies and power their machine of control. Once activated you have to get out before time runs out, and if you die you can not respawn.
EXTRACTION PORTALS - Bank your Loot.
To get your hard earned loot off the islands then you need to use an Extraction Portal. These Elder God devices were used for transporting their forces before the Offering Towers were built.
Use their own technology against them, and avoid the treasure hungry Sea Wyrms by transporting your loot safely back to your Home Island.
Some objects are so big you have to carry them to the extraction portal, such as the severed heads of the gods you have killed. This will keep either 1 or both of your hands busy, limiting you offensive abilities.
Although, keep in mind when carrying these objects you can also use them as weapons. Perform a melee attack and tear them a new one with your impromptu weapon.
Dont forget to rescue your Kindred when you come across them whilst hunting. You can rescue them by dropping them off at an active Extraction Portal.
The more Kindred you rescue the more you can get them to help you rebuild your Home Island, by staffing Farms and Guard Towers to increase their efficiency and power.
COMBAT - Shoot for your loot.
Almighty is a 3rd person shooter but instead of guns the player uses magic. There's dual fire from left and right hands, head-shots and weak-spots to shoot, crit-hit and crit-damage, and status effects you can apply.
The Alpha does have other offensive attacks you can employ however.
There are melee attacks such as the CHARGE ATTACK where the player can charge headlong into enemies sending smaller enemies flying, which consumes Magic Power.
A SLAM ATTACK where whilst in the air the player can come slamming down with their right fist sending out a shockwave based on the right hands Powerstone. Ther higher you slam down from the more damage you do, so get some height.
SPIN ATTACK where the Alpha can lay down punches whilst still moving as standing still is not a good idea.
Enhance all melee attacks by activating OVERCHARGE by holding down recharge. This boosts all melee attacks as it drains you Magic Power.
CLAMP ON weak points on larger enemies such as Thunderheads and Elder Gods and pummel them for some extreme melee damage. Be careful though as the Powerstone your punching can overcharge and blast you off.
Activate AMULETS to summon magical spells such as bringing down a shower of meteors, that rains down destruction in a given area.
Transform into a Fire Giant using Blaze of Glory leaving a burning trail behind you that burns things that touch it.
The combination of how you shoot, use melee and when and where you activate your amulet, in combination with pack members will decide the outcome of battles.
GEAR - Design your own Character Class
Be who you want to be, design your own character class by defining what Gauntlets and Amulets you equip your character with and what passive skills they have. Primary weapons on each hand fired using left and right hand buttons. Configure each hand separately. One gauntlet shoots fire the other heals or has a shield. Players can co-ordinate loadouts for team tactics. Amulets mounted on the back provide special abilities that will also benefit players in your pack such as healing or boosting attacking damage.
Gauntlets are the weapons platform, can be configured and fired left and right independently, and contain passive skills that buff the players abilities and stats. They boost the players health and provide meleee damage abilities. Signature gauntlets can be found, or the player craft and inscribe their own.
Power Stones are the ammo of the Gauntlets, and define what magic your Gauntlets use. Set one up with a healing beam and another that shoots exploding fireballs. Charge acts like ammo, and the player can recharge/reload or wait for them to automatically do it once empty.
Amulets are the players Ultimate/Super ability but designed to be used more often, so as to be used in conjunction with shooting and melee more. Trigger a spell when it has charged by an Alpha carrying out good deeds for their tribe, that can create benefits for both the player and players in their pack.
LOADOUTS - A build for every occasion
An Alpha will be able to create a series of Loadouts and name them how they like. They can then configure different loadouts to suite different tactics, and easily swap between them during play.
Focus a gear set to do more damage during the day or night, or set one up as purely a healer build.
We want the player to have as much freedom here as possible.
CRAFTING - Build and Inscribe.
In the Citadel are the Artificer, Blacksmith and Alchemist. Here an Alpha can use the materials they have hunted and create their own unique gear. As well as crafting gear here, an Alpha can inscribe magical Sigils on to that gear to boost stats and to add magical buffs. There are many Sigil Schools to choose from, each with their own benefits.
Alphas can craft Gauntlets, Amulets and Powerstones if they have first aquired the blueprints that teaches them how to craft it.
In addition to crafting new gear, an Alpha can customise their character to look how they like, so they may be using certain gear for their abilities but they may want a different look.
This can be easily achieved using the Character Customisation menu that allows an Alpha to transmog gear items as well as changing body shape, skins, horns, tails, and eyes.
